so, its been a while since i’ve drawn a completely new, totally traditional dready image; i’ve drawn some of the trustafarian ones – they have a character all their own – but nothing simply ‘dready’: in characters, in tone and in style …

this one is based on two hand sketches that i’d done …

to ‘pree’ is to look on someone, usually with a little touch of envy … ‘why yu a pree pan me’ …

but, ya know, sometimes people do things so they can be ‘preed’ upon …

and so, in the case of this art you go to pree mart to buy the kind of things that will cause people to look at you but also the characters, in good traditional dready fashion, are all looking out, ‘preeing’ on you the viewer … or perhaps you are ‘preeing’ pon dem
