there are reasons for me drawing a nude and none of them are about titillation, the first is this idea of what you can portray with an eye on simplicity … and how simple the whole thing can be and still portray something cool.

i’ve pared this image down to very little and yet you can still feel it … the presence of the house, the style, you might even be able to imagine the kind of house it might be,

you might imagine the woman herself, the person who is looking at her … I lifted her out of the dready ‘itopia-ish’ …
