Dready, Dready Art and Everything Dready

                      dready ‘miami vice-ish’ – 44×14 – image

As a tiny yute i had a love for cheap cheap captain’s hats from off the bottom shelf in (walgreens), somewhere off biscayne … i used to look forward to the new one each trip to miami when we went shopping for things, like cheap captains hats(!!!), you couldn’t get at home … days of chocolate malts and club sandwiches, no lettuce.

(though truly the chocolate malts at oxford pharmacy were better) …

grandpas tailor was on flagler, dad’s tractor parts were down off of sunset …

the big man me still don’t tek no lettuce in his BLT …

then i went to college in south florida and clowned and roamed with yardies (and trinis and guaynese and surinamese and bajans), from palm beach to key west, on and off for ’bout 10 years. I would never call them the best years of my life, but spent some cool cool times of life there … Miami vice years, eh … and besides who wouldn’t want a ferrari daytona …

coming in the air tonight …
