man, i love a horse, i love the feeling of going for a long long ride out … i could ride every day if i had a chance and the space(!!) but there’s none here on our beautiful but built up island the size of postage stamp – unless you want to ride in a ring …

was chatting to one of the guys i used to do horses with, he had a little stables and all group of boys/men kept horses there, and he’s given up too; all the trails we used to ride out to have been built on; maybe there’s some in east end still, but too hard to get to, you can beach ride in barkers, but …

i watched a documentary once about a man who rode across america, in modern times, now that’s an undertaking, eh … some people I know did a 5 day ride across the andes, that’s more like it I think … I want to do a ride from alberta into british columbia … the space to do that in if you wanted to though …

i used to ride every day in my holidays from school; would ride to see friends all 15 miles away, in the days before i could drive (it’s far easier to drive 15 miles! and soooo much quicker) …

so, I was working on something and it included some horses – i like a chestnut horse best, all shiny red and t’ing but there’s something very cool about an appaloosa, more so than a paint, the spots – and it was a cowboy thing for a texas client, and appaloosa’s are an US breed and so …
