                     Moko Jumbies on the wall for the first cayman islands art biennial

moko jumbies, so burnt orange and pretty …

it first came into being for a show at the oxo tower in london, sponsored by jersey based law firm mourant; it then went straight from there to represent the cayman islands at carifesta in Barbados, in june and august 2017, respectively …

it circled back to sit on our wall for a year until the National Gallery asked for it to be in their 1st Biennial show …

and then in the same breath I was asked if the National Gallery and the Ministry of Culture could buy it for the national permanent collection …

is cool … it’s provenance is cool …
