The yacht Vagabondia, was designed by Cox & Stevens, Inc., and constructed in 1928 at Kiel, Germany, for Mr. William L. Mellon,
In 1941 she was acquired by the US Navy, renamed Azurlite and simultaneously designated PY-22.  Following the war, Azurlite was decommissioned and sold to J. S . Webster & Sons in 1947. She continued in service as a freighter and passenger ship until 1968, when she was sold.
